  : Very good location, apartment newly finished
  : Staff weren't very helpful when there was a problem with the online payment. There were cockroaches in the patio so we couldn't open windows as netting on windows was ripped. Listing said daily housekeeping but nobody came to clean the room in a whole week

  : The apartment was 1 block from the beach. They gave us a first-floor apartment as I requested. 5 city blocks to the carmel market. Air conditioning was great!
  : Per booking.com confirmation, the office opens at 10 AM. We arrived at 10 AM and nobody was in the office. I called the office number 7 times and there was no pickup. The message said nobody was available at that time. The office has no sign saying it is the Sunset Beach Apartment office. There was a sticky note posted on the door with a number and I called and there was no pick up either. Around 10:30, Edward came by and opened the office door but he could not check us in. He said the manager comes at 11 AM. He allowed us to leave our luggage in the office. 11AM came and no one was in the office. I called the number on booking.com and a female answered the phone and said she will be there in 2 minutes. 11:30 AM came and no one was in the office. I called again and the same woman said she was coming in 2 minutes. Then around 11:40 AM a guy opened the door to the office. His name is Alex. He was in a foul mood. He said check in was at 3PM. I asked if we can have first floor or ground level and he said he can only provide 2nd floor if we are checking in on that day. And he said to come at 3PM. We came back at 3PM and were told the apartment is being cleaned. We had to come back at 4PM- apartment was still being cleaned. He will call us when the apartment was ready. NO CALL from Alex. We came back at 5PM and finally the room was ready. Edward helped us get our luggage to the apartment. He was very pleasant and he tried his best to orient us to the apartment. He was charming and friendly.The bathroom shower stall was not graded correctly so water flooded all over the bathroom floor. It took 6 towels to stop the flow of the water. It was a horrible experience.

  : We had a great time with our 2 kids at Sunset Beach Apartaments, right next to the beach 5 min (beachfront 100m). Next to the City Center. Lots of Restaurants, Coffee Shops, SuperMarkets. 10 min to Carmel Market. Check In and Check Out were perfect organized and easy. The manager and the staff were really very helpful. Our appartment was clean and comfortable.
  : No cleaning in 10 days. But it was really not a big problem.

  : Neighbors made a party until 4 in the morning, no one checking we went to ask for 3 time to stop the party but no one care

  : The worst service I’ve ever encountered with. Every single customer in the place had something to complain about. When we finally got our room 3 hours waiting in the streets the beds were not made so we asked the maid to help us. She came at midnight with the sheets in a plastic bag. Check-in was 3 hours late and they didn’t care that we had plans for the evening. Internet in the room didn’t work at all. They have zero service-mind and they didn’t care at all to help us with anything. Find another place!!
